Hiromi Ito and her translator, Jeffrey Angles, will have a conversation about language, sexuality, and living between countries. Along with the conversation, there will be a bilingual reading, featuring poems from the newly published books Killing Kanoko: Selected Poems of Hiromi Ito (2009) and passages from Yomitoki Hanya Shingyo (Interpreting the Heart Sutra, 2010).
